Thriving while Threatened: Stories of Resilience
Join the Black Graduate and Professional Students Association in our biannual Community Lecture Series. Keynote speaker Dr. Stacie LeSure will discuss the perseverence of black women in engineering and computer science in spite of stereotype threat and other challenges.
The BGAPSA Community Lecture Series is a community engagement event between students, staff, faculty, and community members around the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. This event is meant to further dialogue and strengthen community while highlighting socioeconomic issues that affect people within the Pan-African spectrum both nationally and globally. [Read More]
