​Eligibility
BGAPSA Developing Voices Grants are available to those who fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Must be currently enrolled in a graduate or professional program at the University ofMinnesota-Twin Cities.
  2. Must have been accepted to or already attended a conference/workshop directly related toyour degree program (after July 1st of current academic year).
  3. Students may only receive one Developing Voices Grant per semester.
  4. Must attend at least two BGAPSA events during the Fall and/or Spring semester.
  5. Must attach a personal statement (1 page or less, 12 point font, single spaced) addressingthe following:
    1. Why did you choose the workshop/conference? (e.g. Conference theme, skillstaught).
    2. How has or will the conference/workshop benefit you? (Be as specific as possible).

The purpose of BGAPSA’s Graduate and Professional Student Developing Voices Grant is to encourage students to present their work and research outside of the University campus and/or attend workshops for career development. The funds that are reimbursed to recipients are intended to assist students with travel and conference-related expenses. This grant is only available to students that have already or will undoubtedly attend and/or present at a workshop or conference, specified in the application. Each Developing Voices Grant Recipient will receive up to $100.
